Dear Friends of Bridges to Prosperity,
It is impossible to look back on this past year and not feel taken aback by the events that impacted us as individuals, as organizations, and as a global community.
There is no denying the many lives lost and livelihoods diminished during this time. Many of us lost loved ones, and most of us left some part of ourselves behind in a world now forever changed.
And…
One of the most important lessons that I have learned in my fifteen years with B2P is that the most challenging times reveal hidden strength and opportunities that, when ignited, result in the most meaningful change. 2020 presented plenty of opportunities for B2P’ers to face challenges head on, and I couldn’t be more proud of what resulted.
Our fiscal year 2020 (Sept. 2019 – August 2020) will forever be a memorable one here at B2P – a year of action inspired by our bold vision, guided by thoughtful strategy, and fueled by all of you who continued to choose and champion our mission, people, and progress throughout. We continued to build, with a deepened commitment to health and safety, and never lost sight of our promise to provide critical connection.
To all who contributed to our year’s success, thank you. I hope you pause to reflect with us and enjoy the reminder of all that you’ve helped make possible.
