Bolivia Industry Construction and Logistic Coordinator

Bridges to Prosperity (B2P) is an international non-governmental organization that specializes in the design and construction of pedestrian footbridges. We are on the hunt for a Logistic and Construction Coordinator, in executing responsibilities and coordinating all ground logistics for visiting teams of international volunteers. This individual would be responsible for acting as the main contact between B2P, the local communities and the incoming corporate teams.


Industry Fulfillment Responsibilities

    • Support the Senior Programs and Accounts Manager to prepare the arrival of the Industry Team including but not limited to accommodation, meals, vehicle hire, tool inventories and site preparation
    • Respond to requests for information prior to the team’s arrival via email or telephone
    • Host all industry prep calls
    • Accompany the team throughout their time in country, assisting them to organize off site logistics or resolve any problems which may arise
    • Act as a translator between corporate team members and local community members when needed
    • Work with co-workers to continue to develop new standard and processes for the Industry Program in Bolivia
    • Work with Bolivia Program Manager to develop short and long term plan for the Industry Program in Bolivia
    • Assist with hiring and training of Industry Program Liaison
    • Other general tasks as requested

Project Responsibilities

  • When requested by Bolivia Program Manager act as B2P’s Project Engineer on site with Industry Teams
  • Review construction and safety plans submitted
  • With project staff, keep site specific tool inventory
  • Follow and promote Bridges to Prosperity Safety Policy and Protocols


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Experience in surveying, drafting, and design
  • Fluent written and spoken English, Spanish preferred
  • Driver’s license and driving experience,  manual transmission proficiency preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or construction
  • Passion for B2P’s mission and development work


The position is based in Cochabamba, Bolivia and requires frequent travel to rural sites.
