Imundu is a seven-year-old girl who lives in rural Rwanda. She leaves home at 6:00 am to go to school with her dad.
On their walk to school, they cross a river. Until last year, Imundu and her father would wade through the river, and if it was flooded, they would turn around, missing out on opportunity and education for the day.
Bridges to Prosperity worked alongside Imundu’s community to build a trailbridge, bringing safe river passage to the entire community.
The Bridges to Prosperity trailbridge program in Rwanda will connect over 1.1 million people just like Imundu.
By making a $33 donation, students like Imundu are provided with year-round access to school for their entire education.
