MALOBE LOUYANDO

Once the community of Malobe had a school they needed a bridge to reach that school, so that their children could finally attend year round. The bridge, they realized would also afford them access to the main town nearby (20km walk), which they had not been able to ever reach during the rainy season. Children often died of easily treated illnesses because they could not get to the clinic. The bridge became their number one priority and the Glassco Foundation responded, calling Bridges to Prosperity to join them in the effort to finish the bridge in 2010.
