
Hardik Doshi
Engineering Intern
Hardik was born in India and spent most of his childhood in Muscat, Oman. In 2000 he moved to Chicago where he received a BS in Civil and Materials Engineering in 2009 from the University of Illinois.
While at UIC Hardik served as the co-captain of the ASCE Steel Bridge Team and worked as a research assistant at the UIC Structural and Concrete Materials Lab, studying the effects of carbon fiber reinforcement to rehabilitate cracked and damaged concrete beams. After graduating, he worked as a field engineer for a firm in Dallas, working on a lightrail project connecting Dallas to the DFW International Airport. As a member of the Structures Group he was responsible for all of the bridges on the project.
Hardik enjoys playing basketball and cricket and worked as the basketball manager for the men’s team at UIC. Hardik joined B2P in July 2011 to pursue his passion for bridge building and serving the community.
