2007-current: Bridging the Gap, Inc .is dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of life for marginalized communities across sub-Saharan Africa by constructing pedestrian footbridges to overcome the dangers posed by impassable rivers and ravines that threaten their safety, limit their access to education and healthcare, and restrict economic opportunity. As of 2007, Bridging the Gap had help construct over 50 footbridges in Kenya alone. Bridging the Gap and Bridges to Prosperity are committed to footbridge technology sharing and cross training those engaged in our respective organizations, and to further collaborate in the high need sub-Saharan African region.

Now’s the time to join ONE in demanding fair trade, debt relief, and increased aid for the world’s poorest nations. Bridges To Prosperity is a ONE partner and hence supports the ONE Campaign efforts to end poverty in our lifetime.

2007-current GOAL believes that every human being has the right to the fundamentals of life: food, water, shelter, healthcare and literacy. Goal also believes it is essential to train local people and build the capacity of local organizations so that they can continue to provide healthcare and other services long after GOAL has left the country. Bridges to Prosperity is collaborating with GOAL in Honduras.

2007-current Servants in Faith and Technologytrains local community technicians on innovative technologies that better the quality of life for the poor. These appropriate technologies are simple designs that work off alternative power sources (ex. footbridges, animals, wind, water, manual-power, solar-power) and basic principles (ex. gravity, levers, pressure). SIFAT and Bridges to Prosperity are partnering on a bridge in the village of Quesimpuco, Bolivia, and doing cooperative training to start a formal comprehensive bridge program in Bolivia.

2007-current Auburn United Methodist Church AUMC has most recently performed mission work in poor rural communities in Ecuador, Honduras, and Bolivia. AUMC and Bridges to Prosperity are partnering on an incredible bridge in the village of Quesimpuco, Bolivia, and doing cooperative training to start a formal comprehensive bridge program in Bolivia.


2005-2007 FONCODES:Fondo de Cooperación para el Desarrollo Social (Fund for Cooperation and Social Development), is a section of the Ministry for Women and Development (MIMDES) which funds development projects across Peru. These projects range from schools and clinics to roads and bridges. Bridges to Prosperity is helping FONCODES increase its capacity to build bridges through the use of innovative and efficient design. Bridges to Prosperity is providing training sessions to each FONCODES regional office and thereafter offering on-site field training and technical assistance.


2005-2007 SENCICO of Peruis a section of the Ministry of Housing, Sanitation, and Construction. It is a low cost technical school that trains students in trades such as welding, basic adobe house construction, electrical wiring, etc. Bridges is assisting SENCICO in preparing footbridge curriculum, and has built a demonstration bridge with their instructors on campus.


2005-current Engineering for Developing Communities (EDC) This program educates globally responsible engineering students and professionals who can offer sustainable and appropriate solutions to the endemic problems faced by developing communities worldwide. Bridges to Prosperity collaborates on a regular basis with EDC volunteers.


2005-current Ayuda en Accion and Cadep - Both have missions that focus on the poor in the villages, work to increase jobs and equality, women rights, and reduce poverty. Bridges to Prosperity is partnering with Ayuda en Accion in Peru and Honduras, where AeA is a major strategic partner.


2004-current Engineers Without Borders - International (EWB) This organization facilitates links and collaboration among its member groups toward improving the quality of life of disadvantaged communities worldwide through education and implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while promoting new dimensions of experience for engineers, engineering students, and similarly motivated non-engineers. Bridges to Prosperity collaborates on a regular basis with EWB volunteers.


2004-current Italian Development Corporation The Arsi Bale Rural Development Project operates in two Zones of Oromia Regional State in Ethiopia called Arsi and Bale where a total of 4.4 million people live. Due to fertile lands and consistent rainfall patterns, these two areas are considered to have a high agricultural potential. ABRDP was conceived to intervene in a core productive area of the country to improve agricultural production, productivity and marketing by injecting cash and expertise in rural infrastructures such as roads, water supply, market infrastructures and irrigation and empowering people through local planning process and district capacity building. Bridges to Prosperity partnered with the Italian Development Corporation in 2004 and 2005, and partner Helvetas has continued this partnership through today.


2002-current Helvetas Ethiopia and Nepal:The mission of Helvetas is to contribute to improvement in the living conditions of economically and socially disadvantaged people in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Switzerland. They are currently focusing on three main sectors - Rural infrastructure, Natural resources and Education & Culture. In Nepal (and soon Ethiopia), the community Trail Bridge Short Span Program is one of their many programs. Helvetas Nepal (and soon Ethiopia) works as an implementing agency on behalf of the Nepalese government (and soon the Ethiopia government). Bridges to Prosperity is currently collaborating with Helvetas on active bridges programs in Ethiopia and Honduras


2002 Indonesia CCF: Children have the right to experience life with as much joy and hope as possible. The Christian Children’s Fund creates an environment of hope and respect for children in need in which they have opportunities to achieve their full potential, and provides children, families and communities with practical tools for positive change. Bridges to Prosperity partnered in Indonesia with CCF on a bridge project on the island of Sumatra.


2001-current Ecosystems Nepal: EcoSystems was started in 1996 by Bay Area expatriates David and Haydi Sowerwine. The non-prifit (Village Concepts) works to improve the welfare of Nepal's rural people by offering transport and energy systems that are safe, efficient, inexpensive, and environmentally sound. To date, EcoSystems has successfully installed over 30 wire bridges throughout Nepal, and is nearing completion of the wire road, an innovative transportation system that utilizes banana farm cableway technology to transport people and cargo. Bridges to Prosperity has partnered with Ecosystems on two wire bridges in Nepal.


2001-current Rotary Foundation: Bridges to Prosperity is a Cooperating Organization of The Rotary Foundation: The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary's mission, and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs. Bridges to Prosperity has partnered with over 30 Rotary clubs on seven (7) Rotary Foundation grants in the countries of Ethiopia, Peru, Honduras, and Zambia.
