Participation by Service Clubs and Religious Groups:

Bridges to Prosperity encourages participation by all with a big heart and a desire to serve others.

Here are some examples of opportunities to participate in our footbridge mission:

• If you have a desire to serve others, consider volunteering for a 35 day stay at one or several of our bridge sites. See the volunteer section of this website for more information on how to sign up. Also, you may wish to complete the volunteer form, and get e-mail updates on volunteer opportunities that can be performed at your office or home.


• If you are traveling on a trip to serve others, see if we have programs nearby. If so, consider participating in both yours and ours.


• If your organization is working with a poor community in one of the countries we are working in, and that community has a bridge need, consider partnering with us to help you with the technical and logistical aspects of that bridge project. We may even be able to help financially with your bridge!


• If your organization is training community development technicians to meet the needs of a community, have them sponsor that person to train with us for 2-3 months in one of our active countries.


• If your organization would like to consider taking on a full scale in-country bridge training/building program, partner with us to help start and operate that comprehensive program.


• Have your organization sponsor one of our bridges. Sponsorship of this type is typically $5,000, with the funds being used for training and teaching our beneficiaries to build this bridge on their own. A plaque will be placed with your organizations’ name, as well as website photos and credits.
